About WCS

WCS Engineering solves complex manufacturing problems where CNC, controls, automation, robotics, and process engineering intersect. We look at the entire system, find the real limitation, and engineer solutions that work in production.

Built From the Machine Up

The experience behind WCS started on the shop floor in 2012 and grew from machine operation into setup, CNC programming, CAD/CAM, applications engineering, automation, and manufacturing engineering. That progression created an understanding of manufacturing from both sides: how equipment is engineered and how it actually has to perform every day in production.

Years spent working directly with manufacturers also reinforced something important: the best solution is not always found by looking at one piece of the machine. You have to understand how the entire process fits together.

WCS is especially strong where CNC equipment, machine controls, and automation have to work together.

Hands-on experience with FANUC and Mitsubishi controls extends beyond CNC programming into PMC and PLC logic, industrial robots, machine communication, probing, automated inspection, custom operator interfaces, and complete machine-tending applications.

That combination matters because CNC and automation are often treated as separate specialties. WCS understands both sides and how to make them operate as one production system.

Solving the Problems Others Get Stuck On

WCS is often brought into problems after the easy answers have already been tried.

Sometimes a machine is too slow. Sometimes a process has become unreliable. Sometimes automation needs to be added to equipment that was never designed around it. Other times, the problem simply does not make sense until you look beyond the symptom.

Rather than forcing every problem into one technical category, WCS follows it wherever it leads: through the CNC, controls, programming, automation, tooling, process, or the interaction between them. The goal is to find the real cause and leave behind a solution that works reliably in production.

WCS was created to give manufacturers access to the kind of broad technical support that can be difficult to find when a problem crosses traditional boundaries.

That capability continues to grow with every machine, project, and new technology. Whether the work involves solving one difficult production problem or developing a larger machining and automation system, the approach stays the same: understand the application, do the work right, explain it clearly, and earn the customer’s trust through the result.

The hardest manufacturing problems rarely stay inside one discipline.

Neither does WCS.
